Storm fights the storm
Storm joined our sanctuary a month ago. She is a feral cat and we noticed very quickly that when she ate food, she would yelp and run straight for a safe place to hide. At first we thought that she was protective over her food but soon realised something was wrong.
We took Storm to the vet and all the teeth in his mouth were rotten and had to be extracted. R17,000 ($1000) later we call her our Golden cat.
Such is the life of a rescue organisation. Many cats we get are abused or injured or sick and the cost of their welfare and care falls on us so we rely heavily on help from kind people that are willing to donate. So many people do not realise that a little help goes a long long way for these animals. Thanks to those people who do care enough to help in their own way.
